We’re a modular HO scale railroad club based in the Holland and Zeeland area of West Michigan. We believe that the fun of modular railroading is coming together to create a diverse railroad so you don’t have to build an entire layout in your basement!

Since the HMRC has no permanent layout, the way for members to run trains as a group is to bring their personal modules together with club modules at shows and other events. This combination of personal and club modules gives us a variety of different layouts and configurations. This makes running trains a group effort in everything from building and maintaining modules to set up, storage and transportation. HMRC has participated in local events, such as The Great American Train Show, the Zeeland Christmas Train Show, Tulip City Train Show and many more. We’ve also helped out at various fundraisers for the Glenn School District, The American Red Cross and South Haven’s Art Center.

So welcome! Take some time to explore the links above to find out about us and for more information on the various aspects of our club. You are also welcome to come check out any of our meetings to find out if you would like to join in on the fun!
